IAN THORPE INTO THE LIGHT

I started painting Ian Thorpe months ago after I heard about his battle with depression. Like most Australians, I love Thorpie & was saddened to hear this. The background was originally blue tones & I kind of put in on the back burner, until now .... Ian Thorpe came out on Sunday night, I hope he finds the happiness he deserves now he can publically live his truth & finally get the media off his back about his sexuality. The rainbow after the rain.

NICK CAVE PORTRAIT

Inspired by one of my friends, I wanted to do a looser style of painting. This is my natural style, how I used to paint years ago. I had a lot of fun painting this potrait.

SKYE PENCIL DRAWING

I did a pencil sketch of Skye as a sugar skull. I haven't done a pencil drawing for years & I enjoyed it so much. I love digital work for many reasons, but there's nothing like pencil on paper.

WHITEBRIDGE MURAL

This is a mural I did for a local building company about a development. It certainly has caused some debate & controversy & I have copped some adverse comments. I'm not sure about the politics of this, I'm just doing my job (which I thoroughly enjoyed).
